Clayton Clemens

May 26, 2021

Clayton Clemens lives in Tampa, Florida and works for the Florida Internet and Television company handling internal and external public affairs. His family lives in Pennsylvania and each of them are essential workers and volunteers. Unfortunately, he has not seen his family since the beginning of the pandemic, and he misses them.

During the pandemic, Clayton worked for the government and helped coordinate job fairs and food, clothing and blood drives. He also helped many individuals in the Tampa community learn how to claim their unemployment benefits, as well as, supported an organization that extends a helping hand to abused women and families.

Clayton and his previous boss started a new drive named “Hunt & Drive” where a text message is sent to any given zip code and the community members are asked to put any cans of food and gently used clothing in their front yard to be picked up and shared with other families in the Tampa area.

Clayton is also on the board of the 21 and Change organization, a non-profit that helps support parents who have children with down syndrome. He is currently enrolled as grad student at the University of Central Florida and will obtain a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the end of the year.
