Meet
Julie Caggiano

As the chief legal advisor to the senior management team, Julie drives the strategic evolution of the legal function and internal compliance process at Envoy. Julie has worked for Envoy since 2010 and provides expert legal support regarding regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, human resources and corporate and security advisement.

Before Julie began her career in the mortgage industry, she was a partner at the law firm of Hughes Watters Askanase, where her practice concentrated on real estate and regulatory compliance, sparking her interest in the residential mortgage sector. Her robust legal career allowed her to secure previous positions as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Sterling Bank and Aegis Mortgage Corporation.

Julie is a graduate of the University of Miami and the University of Houston and was named one of Houston’s Top 50 Women in Law by the National Diversity Council. She is also a member of many organizations; including the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the American Bar Association Business Law Section, Treasurer of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers and the National and Texas Mortgage Bankers Associations. Julie is also President of the Board of Directors for the Eye Care for Kids Foundation and Vice President of the Board of Houston Delta Gamma Foundation.

Outside of her busy work schedule, Julie enjoys live music and regularly attends the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Her most memorable concert was when she took her mom to see her favorite singer, Neil Diamond, before he retired!
