About James Beaver

James Beaver is an Envoy Mortgage Branch Manager in Houston, TX.

In business, James is known for three things: (1) his genuine interest in providing his clients with exceptional service, (2) his unrelenting work ethic and honesty, and (3) an almost inexplicable commitment to wearing sweater vests around the office.

Door-to-door selling semi-fresh produce that he acquired from his mother’s refrigerator may have been James’ first job, but it was the mortgage business that ultimately became his career. While most young boys dream of one day becoming a Loan Originator, this was not the case for James.

After graduating with a BBA from The University of Texas and spending a few years working in the technology sector, James was encouraged by his wife, then fiancé, Brenna, to find gainful employment in her hometown of Houston. In 2001, mortgage companies were hiring, and James needed a job. It was a great match!

James quickly realized that it was a business which allowed him the opportunity to help people, and helping people is something James very much likes to do. Whether assisting a family buying their first home, forever home, second home or a home that will do for now, James and his team aim to provide a world class experience and sound advice. Thankfully, his clients appreciate the service, and continue to refer their friends, colleagues and family, making James a consistent top producer.

When James isn’t working, he’s probably chasing his two sons around town, standing in his garage staring at the bicycle he used to ride, shamelessly reading a spy novel one wouldn’t want to admit to reading or perhaps planning his next trip to catch a U2 concert.
