Dewitt Family

May 28, 2021

Damien Dewitt is currently self-employed and both he and his wife lost their jobs because of the pandemic. Damien was a manager at a bar and his wife was a permitter for a generator company. His wife has not returned to work and the bar, where Damien was manager, never reopened. Damien is enjoying semi-retirement from the Army and has recently become a landlord and maintains a multi-family home.

Damien served in the Army for four years and was medically discharged. He was stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado and did multiple tours in Afghanistan.

Damien and his wife have two children under the age of four and are struggling financially because they lost two-thirds of their income due to the pandemic.

However, Damien used the low interest rates during the pandemic to start his own business. He plans to purchase four more multi-family properties by the end of the year, find a partner willing to invest in him, and begin building passive income for his family’s future.
