The Gasca Family

Robert Gaska is a Photonic Packaging Technician for Freedom Photonics in Lompoc, California.

As a single father of two boys, ages 16 and 15, Robert said he was lucky compared to other families because he was still able to work during the pandemic. His company was able to use swing shifts for their employees to handle the increasing workload while maintaining distance and staying safe.

Both of Robert’s sons are now back in school and he has seen a big improvement in their grades and demeanor. His sons are back to enjoying their classes, seeing their friends, and playing sports.

Robert closed on his home in March 2021 and has made many major renovations like painting and adding new carpet. His sons are very happy because the family has so much more space!
