Barbara Fay is a Sales Lead at a retirement community in Dover, New Hampshire. She works onsite and was scared for her residents during the pandemic. Fortunately, no cases of the virus were contracted at her facility. Peter, her husband, is a Postal Carrier and was buried in work during the holidays because of the increase in online purchases!

The most challenging part of the pandemic for Barbara was watching all the restaurants that had to close their doors permanently. She was in the restaurant business previously and understands what it’s like to lose so much business.

Their biggest blessing was the extra time they were able to spend with their children and grandchildren. Barbara and Peter have two grown children a 22-year-old daughter who graduated college last year and a 29-year-old son who is married with two children and two dogs. Barbara says the best part of being a mother and grandmother is having her children and grandchildren at the house.

Just before the pandemic began, Barbara and Peter put an offer on their new home. They decided to downsize and purchased a 25-year-old farmhouse that needed renovations. Their experience with Envoy was beyond their expectations and Barbara continuously recommends their Loan Officer, Sarah Haberkorn, to many friends and family members.
