Bond Family

Jessica Bond is an Aircraft Mechanic in Oak Harbor, Washington at the naval base. Born in Phoenix, Jessica served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed Whidbey, Washington for eight years after retiring for medical reasons.

When building aircrafts, you typically work in teams, but because of the pandemic, Jessica’s naval base was mandated to follow strict military protocols for social distancing. Her team had to get creative in order to continue work on the aircrafts.

Jessica simultaneously began looking for a home in 2019, but had to put the search on pause. When she heard the home market was crashing and interest rates were at their lowest, she began her search again. Jessica said the day she turned 30, her Realtor called and told her he had found her the perfect home. She put a bid on that home that night.

Jessica closed on her home in May 2020 and is thankful to everyone who helped her along the way!

Jessica has been working on her home…. The house was built in the 1950’s and the wallpaper is identical to those times.
