Alves Family

Anthony Alves works in building management for a healthcare unit in Providence, Rhode Island. Previously, Anthony served in the U.S. Navy and Army for years and was stationed in Chicago, San Diego, Coranado, Virginia Beach and Iraq before he was medically retired.

He was considered an essential worker during the pandemic and handled office maintenance for many high-traffic buildings. Anthony’s wife owns a salon and was heavily impacted by the pandemic. When she re-opened her salon, they had to make many significant changes.

Together, the couple has three daughters and one son of various ages from 14 years to 2 months old. The biggest challenge during the pandemic was online learning for his children.

Anthony’s hope for the future is to fully pay off his mortgage!
