Envoy Mortgage New Jersey Branch Introduces Charitable Initiative Second Saturdays

Envoy Mortgage branch in Voorhees, New Jersey is honored to announce a grassroots philanthropy effort amongst team members to expand community outreach across the Tri-State area.

Envoy Branch Manager, James Butz, began “Second Saturdays” as a way for local team members to donate or volunteer their time to local charities. The name Second Saturdays is exactly as it seems, with volunteer efforts occurring on the second Saturday of each month.

“It’s really important for me that the surrounding areas know who we are and what we stand for. It is something that allows people to see our true nature. I can say on social media that I am a family guy and that I give back, but it is really important not just for me but for everyone that wants to work here to know this is truly what we stand for,” said James Butz, Envoy Mortgage Branch Manager.

The volunteer network currently operates with the help of 25 volunteers and has grown at a consistent rate since May 2021. Some of the many charitable events the team have volunteered their time include holiday gift drives, clothing drives, animal adoption centers, park clean-ups, and homeless shelters.

I think it’s super important. We serve a lot of the communities, but we never really have a chance to give back. So, this gives us an opportunity to be able to give a charitable contribution to the communities we serve as a company,” said Cindy Ruth, Envoy Mortgage Loan Originator.

The team plans to grow their volunteer efforts to provide much needed resources to the underserved members of the surrounding Tri-State community.
